    The National Spinal Cord Injury Association (NSCIA) is the nation's oldest and largest civilian organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with a SCI.  The NSCIA publishes SCILife, a-monthly newspaper that is filled with issue-driven articles, and news of interest to the SCI/D community and the larger disability community.  Each issue is available online.

    Online community for people with disabilities. Disaboom's lifestyle articles, blogs, forums, and health information provide shared knowledge about SCI, cerebral palsy, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, and other disabilities.

    Care-Cure Community is a SCI chat room with thousands of members and discussions on a whole range of topics.  You can ask candid question and remain somewhat anonymous in their chat room forum.  This is one of the most powerful resources on the web for someone with a SCI.  It is moderated by Dr. Wise Young and has a resident SCI Nurse, both of whom participate in discussions and can give professional advice.
